This is not the usual marketing funnel that you know…
It’s a term created to describe how each of the elements of an ad works.
Before clicking on your call-to-action, people need to know what you are offering first, and whether or not it is relevant to them.
But before that even happens, they will need to stop scrolling on their newsfeed and pay attention to your ad.
If they won’t even pay attention to your ad, then there’s no way they’ll read your copy.
If they won’t read your copy, then there’s no way they will click the Message, Sign Up, or Learn More button.
See the problem now?
This is the problem that you’ll be able to solve once you understand the ad funnel.
Here’s how it works…
Stop the scroll and grab the attention
The first thing people will notice is your ad creative, so use it to grab people’s attention.
You can use hooks that trigger their problems and goals.
The more relevant and specific your hook is, the better.
Once you have their attention, it’s time to…
Spark the interest and build a desire
This is the role of your ad copy.
You should be able to communicate that you understand their problems or goals
You have the solution that would help them solve their problem and achieve their goals
And you are credible
Once you’ve set the mood, it’s time to…
Sell the click
This is what your call-to-action does
Create an irresistible offer and tell them the specific action they need to take to grab that offer.
Quick note – avoid using multiple CTAs
That’s it! Looks simple right?
But don’t get fooled by its simplicity.
Implement this with a high-converting Facebook Ads strategy, and you are good to go!
